Landry Chauvin

Landry CHAUVIN

Born the 7/12/1968 at Chateau-Gontier (Mayenne). Nationality : French, football coach.

Pillar of training with the Stade Rennais (1992-2007). He directed several age categories and won several trophies. In 2003, under his orders the 18yr old Rennais, with notably, Yoann Gourcuff and Jimmy Briand won the Gambardella cup. A year later, he took the same players to the title of champions of France for the reserve professionals. A performance which was repeated 3 years later with a team composed of players such as Fabien Lemoine, Prince Oniangue, Jires Kembo Ekoko. He became first assistant to Pierre Dreossi (2007), before becoming coach of CS Sedan-Ardennes (2008-2011).

Afterwards he took the reigns with FC Nantes in 2011-2012 followed up with the Stade Brestois the following season. After a shortlived experience in Tunisia, the 22 September 2014, he was named director of the training centre for the Stade Malherbe of Caen.

HAVING A GAMEPLAN FOR YOUR CLUB

More than the organisation of an identical and common game for all the teams of a club, what is difficult in amateur football with regards the teams within their club, the numbers and age levels and the seasons. My goal is more geared towards orientating the techniques of the club towards the principals of common games.
For that, it is important to have a philosophy on the game. Mine is based on collective mastery, based on the phases of transition which allow the loss or recovery of the ball, to keep or to take the time to advance on your adversary.
I am equally a supporter of transmitting these messages from a maximum of forms that have been played, whether it be on the plan of defensive animation and offensive animation.
These paramaters of play or forms played will always be present in the sessions of this pack, including exercise techniques on offer and the sequences dedicated to the development or the maintaining of physical qualities.

The idea, whether it concerns football with teams of 11, 8 or 5 is to form or deform a team block composed of mulitple triangles of partners :

11 players : from U14 to seniros.

8 players : from U10 to U13

5 players: from U8 to U9
